At the Centre for Community Health and Environmental Change (CCHEC), we believe that research and strong partnerships are essential to understanding complex community challenges and delivering impactful, evidence-based interventions. Our organization actively collaborates with international institutions to build knowledge, co-create solutions, and scale best practices that benefit vulnerable populations.
CCHEC integrates community-based research into all our programs, using data to inform decision-making, improve program design, and track outcomes. We engage in:
Our research priorities span across health, sanitation, education, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and child protection. These efforts ensure that our interventions remain responsive, inclusive, and driven by local realities.
Our collaborations with global partners have strengthened our technical capacity and expanded our reach. Two key partnerships include:
We are working alongside the Haller Foundation to promote regenerative agriculture, water conservation, and climate resilience among smallholder farmers and local schools. Through this partnership, CCHEC has introduced low-cost, sustainable farming techniques such as tower gardens, composting, and seed banking. These interventions are transforming degraded land into productive, green spaces—supporting both food security and ecological restoration.
In collaboration with the Columbia Group for Children in Adversity, CCHEC supports research and programming focused on child protection, psychosocial well-being, and resilience in vulnerable communities. This partnership has helped us strengthen our capacity to identify and support children affected by poverty, neglect, disability, and conflict. Through joint assessments, community training, and policy engagement, we contribute to a growing evidence base that informs child-focused interventions across the region.
CCHEC remains committed to cultivating partnerships rooted in shared values, mutual learning, and long-term community transformation. By grounding our work in research and working hand-in-hand with global allies, we ensure that our programs are not only locally relevant but also globally informed.
